Key Features:

• Streamlined Material Management: With Material Manager, you can effortlessly search through all your materials with a dynamic search that updates on each keypress. Say goodbye to navigating the cluttered Hypershade and guessing the correct casing with asterisks. Material Manager v2 puts everything at your fingertips.
• Saves Automatically: Your layout is automatically saved to the Maya scene. When sharing your project, others can open it and run Material Manager to replicate your layout precisely. This is achieved through a hidden group in the outliner, mirroring your Material Manager layers, ensuring project consistency.
• Effortless Organisation and Visual Tags: Material Manager v2 simplifies material organisation with its built-in tagging system. Easily categorize groups using customizable coloured tags, creating an organised workspace that keeps your assets neat and tidy. To add more coloured tags, simply add them to the attribute "TAG_COLOR" array that is at the top of the script.
• Quick Assignments: Material assignments are a breeze with this script. In the viewport simply select the mesh you wish to apply the texture to and in the Material Manager Right Click -> Assign to Viewport Selection. Saving you time and effort.

• Automatically updates material names when renamed outside of the Material Manager (When cursor moves over the Material Manager window)
• Name break prevention. All characters such as ($%--%"£ and empty spaces will be replaced with an underscore so nothing breaks.

NOTE: You will need PyMel for Python 3 installed. This is an option when you install Maya. If you didn't install it originally you can simply go to your Apps & Features on Windows and select Modify. This will pop up the installer and you can select PyMel.
